Bob Hillmer joined Lantrax as an agent in May 2005, having been in the driver’s seat, literally, for the past 30 years, and became a partner in 2009. He knows what is feasible and what is not because he’s been there, whether tarping loads in rainstorms, driving through congested traffic or fulfilling appointment deliveries.

And as a customer service specialist, Bob knows the difference between what is expected and what is supplied. He knows how hollow a promise can seem when an expected shipment doesn’t arrive when promised.

That’s why Bob confirms all the details, no matter how minor, and then he makes certain that everyone knows what is expected and buys into the process. This means that no one is in a position to say “I didn’t know”.

Bob is a graduate of Windermere High School in Vancouver, has two adult sons and a grand-daughter. Bob likes to travel and participates in martial arts.
